Bothell Landing bridge under threatening skies

bothell city park, bridge, sammamish river trail

The rain has been hanging around for days now. What happened to April showers bring May flowers. I think Mother Nature is off schedule.

Anyway…

My SB-700 AF Speedlight was on the fritz so I headed out to Kenmore Camera in the Lake City area to have it looked at. Good news!! All it needed was a little corrosion removed from the contacts and it turned right on again. Thank you to Kenmore Camera for your outstanding customer service and saving my hundreds of dollars in replacement costs.

On the way back home I stopped at Bothell Landing to try out my new Hoya 1000 10-Stop filter. It was ok. Not one I would recommend based on the cost and image quality. Had to raise the kelvins about 1500 to get a normal looking image. You could do better with a screw on BW 10-Stop.

This bridge in the Bothell Landing photograph above is the location of many portrait sessions. Once across the bridge you can travels the Burke-Gilman Trail. It’s great for walking, jogging, or bicycling.  Read some reviews here.
