Rocking out on the Streets of Seattle

street musician, guitar, street busker, seattle street photography, fine art photography, black and white photography, city ilife

I went incognito on the Streets of Seattle with my Nikon D600 and 50mm 1.4 prime lens to capture some awesome people doing awesome things in the city.

This gentleman playing his guitar and smoking a cigarette at the corner of Pike and First Avenue jolted me to a halt. I watched, listened, and shot a few photographs.

The lone guitarist on the Streets of Seattle was not a homeless man nor was he one of the pre-determined buskers playing in Pike Place. This guy had his guitar box open and a cardboard sign that said “Need new car parts to take the family to the zoo.” It was interesting.

After capturing his image I hustled over to the local ATM grabbed out $20 and plopped it into his guitar box.

And on I travelled to find more interesting people doing interesting things on the Streets of Seattle.
