It was the perfect day for landscape photography. The fields were in bloom with Canola and the farmers were tilling the hills for the coming wheat harvest.
The colors present on this day were green wheat… not yet ready, yellow canola fields in bloom, and brown dirt freshly turned and ready for planting. It was an awesome sight.
This first image is of a canola field with dynamic blue sky and puffy white clouds. The feeling was of peace, solitude, and a gentle buzz of honey bees gathered to enjoy the flowers and generate some honey.
Next, I captured this image near some wheat storage silos down a lonely primitive road. This one shows the pure beauty of a sea of green fields complimented by blue sky and more puffy white clouds.
My second screen saver…
I totally love these two captures. These are things you dream about as a photographer living in the Pacific Northwest. I truly believe there is no place else on earth with as much rich beauty as Washington, Oregon, and Idaho.
These images inspire me to dig deep and pull out my inner peace and drive. I am lifted once again to a higher plane of thought and discovery and I hope you find these images inspiring for you as well.
Would love to read your thoughts and comments.
