12 street photos submitted at F-Stop magazine

Ok!! I i did it. I submitted 12 of my best Seattle street photos to F-Stop magazine.

This was something that was hard for me personally. I say it was hard because I do not enter contest or do submissions as a rule. Why… you might ask. Because I, like many artists, am not confident in my work at times. I figure if I keep it hidden then no one can critique it or shoot daggers through words into my heart.

I over came a personal hurdle for me today.

Please enjoy these twelve images from the streets of Seattle. Every photo here was a single shot duplicated into three at 2 over, 2 under, and one at nominal exposure, merged and processed using Photomatix Pro, and final touches in LightRoom 5.

I really enjoy the process of getting lost in the crowd and being unseen until I point the camera at my street subject. There is so much story to tell through the lens.

What stories do you share through your lens?
